History

Logic Hydraulic Controls, Inc. was founded by Michael and Lorraine VanVekoven in December of 1980. Michael was formally the Sales Manager of Waterman Hydraulics in Chicago, IL. and Bruning Hydraulics in Lincoln, NE., concurrently, having a combined annual income of 46 million dollars.

Michael attended Verdun American College in France, University of Maryland, Milwaukee School of Engineering and Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Lorraine attended Northwestern Graduate school in accounting.

Rodney Matthews joined Logic Hydraulic Controls in 1989, Rodney holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a Registered P.E. Michael Price joined Logic in 1996 and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Michael V. VanVekoven joined Logic Hydraulic Controls in 1994 as Sales Manager and became President in 2006. Michael (known as Jr.) holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of North Carolina.

Chuck Pearson, joined Logic as Director of Marketing in 2014. Chuck has a degree in Mechanical Design and has over 25 years in the Fluid Power Industry.

Logic Hydraulic Controls, Inc. designs, manufactures and markets Hydraulic Valves, Components and Integrated Manifolds throughout the Continental United States and in 23 countries worldwide. Logic prides itself on being a niche manufacturer -- providing services and custom products where larger companies are disinclined to participate.
